Career III 300 troubleshooting

Post by fokkemol » 23-01-2014 20:37

Hi,

shoving the pellet not deep enough in the mag might cause one pellet to fall out of the mag and disappear in the bowels of the gun. You never see it happening, but when, one one eary day, your III 300 loses all it`s consistency you know a pellet has gone in the space between hammer and valve stem.

The travel of the mamer is blocked bij the mortal remains of the pellet one shot -155 m/s-, and another shot the muzzlevelocity is what you are used to. Next shot is in the lower 200 m/s.

It`s a crappy way of shooting. Removing the jammed pellet isn`t too hard to do.

First remove the scope from the gun. Next thing is to remove the stock by removing these three screws.

That wasn`t too difficult, wazzit?
The scoperail needs to go to. Three screws.

Next thing is to get the triggerassembly from the belly of the gun. Just two bolts. Watch out, the powerwheel is heading for the carpet!

Image

Next thing you`ll prolly see is the mutilated pellet that kept your gun from shooting like it oughta!

Get a tool to get the hollow pin out wich keeps the endcap at it`s place. The endcap is the thing that keeps the hammerspring at it`s place. No worries, remove the pin and nothing will happen.

And this is the tool you`re using.

Secure the endcap with an Allen wrench.

Carefully knock the upper part of the receiver a bit upwards. Be carefull, no need to remove the entire upper half of the receiver. When the upper half is lifted far enough the endcap can be removed. Take out the Allen wrench carefully, place youre thumb on the endcap and feel the pressure of the hammerspring. Let it come easy babe!!

Here`s the endcap`s coming out! Rarely seen!

And out come the hammerspring and the hammer.

You should be able to detect the pellet in the maintube now.

Assembling the gun to something shooting won`t be too hard now?

Fokke.
